Spiritual Ethiopia
Last breakfast. We take down camp for the last time and set off on the last stage, an easy one, which will take us to Lalibela. We’re keen to arrive, and at the same time sad that such a wonderful trip is coming to an end. It’s been nine days of pedalling, from Addis Ababa to Lalibela, and we’ve seen incredible landscapes and people. And we still have several days to enjoy Lalibela, visiting its magnificent churches and celebrating the big day, the feast of Saint George. But there won’t be any cycling on those days, so that will have to wait, perhaps, for another blog post.
